# Class & Categories

With Elastik, you can have a better understanding of your items by grouping them under Classes & Categories. This helps for better searching, reporting and analysis in general. 

## Item Config

Class & Categories can be created under Item Config. It is found under Admin.

1\. Click "Admin"

2\. Click "Items Config"

3\. Click "Item Classes"

4\. Click "Create New"

5\. Click the "Name" field.

6\. Type "Vehicles"

7\. Click "Submit"
